Fenway has the Green Monster, the famous 37−foot−high left−field wall that transforms lazy fly balls into home runs. Other legendary characteristics of this brick−faced stadium (opened in 1912) include one of the major league’s last remaining manual scoreboards and unbelievably small seats. Sight lines vary from awesome (next to the dugout), to downright obstructed — especially around some spots in the grandstand.
